Itinerary:

 

11:00 - 11:20 – Introductions and overview of Equus Insights Take the Reins team-building program (Knowlton Center lobby)

The Equus Insights’ ModelThe right data, linked with compelling hands-on collaborative experience deliver team building breakthroughs, Brian Morris

The science behind Take the Reins:  The unique combination of assessment tools, surveys, interviews and "horse sense" we use to fully individualize each company's experience, Kim Forman, MPOD

11:30 - 12:30 – Observe a Take the Reins session from the arena floor (Knowlton Center arena)

Next, we move into the Knowlton Center Arena where HRACO Board Members will play the role of the product development team for Acme Incorporated Limited (AIL), the mock-up company we created for this exercise.  Like all teams, AIL’s product developers come with a backstory; their unique strengths and challenges.  And just as if AIL were real, each HRACO Board Member making up our mock team will take the Myers Briggs Personality Profile prior to the session to give us an overall team assessment that will guide the work and help frame the session goals. Afterwards, the Equus Insights team will share all this with you and ask for your observations over lunch.

 

 

12:30 - 1:10 – Feedback Lunch (Knowlton Center lobby)

The Equus Insights team wants your input as they continue developing Take the Reins. Think of this demonstration as a soft launch. The goal is to begin offering this program to Central Ohio companies by September. Over lunch we’ll seek your ideas about the specific team building and leadership development challenges your companies face in today’s tightening job market and the ways programs such as this can help you meet those challenges. The goal is to create something that meets YOUR needs.
