The nonprofit we will collecting donations for during the 2nd quarter of 2018 is The Childhood League. Based in Columbus, The Childhood League Center serves children, birth to age 6 who are at risk or have special needs. Their holistic approach works hand-in-hand with families to establish goals and priorities, then a team of experts personalize therapies and interventions for each child. They have a vision for carrying our work into the future by ensuring the best early education and interventions as well as comprehensive support services for children and families.

The Childhood League is currently in need of art supplies and toys for toddlers in their toddler experience classrooms. They are looking for donations of tempera paint (gallon size preferred, any color), metallic paint, washable glitter paint, liquid water colors, glue, markets, craft sticks, white card stock, large rolls of paper, construction paper, blank canvases, and any other related craft items. They are also always looking for items for their families who may be in need of supplies/items at home. These include food items (rice/beans, cereal, macaroni and cheese, pasta sauces, canned vegetables and fruit, etc.), diapers, and grocery or gas gift cards.

If you are interested in donating towards our donation drive, please bring your items to our monthly meeting in April, May or June. HRACO will ensure the items are delivered on your behalf. If your organization is interested in participating or you have a large amount of items you want to coordinate donating, please reach out to Rachel Arnold, VP of Community Relations, to coordinate. She can be reached at communityrelations@hraco.org
