Donation Drives

Thank you to everyone who has participated over the last year in our donation drives. We had great success supporting a variety of different organizations here in Central Ohio. We greatly appreciate your participation.

For the 3rd quarter of 2019, we decided to forgo doing a donation drive. The main reason for this is because of our Pack Shack party and our requests to support this initiative. However, if you are still looking for ways to give back, here are some ways you can do so!

• NBC4 is already working on their Stuff the Backpack initiative for the upcoming school year. Last year, with their partners they collected over 50,000 backpacks for children in Central Ohio. Learn how you can help by visiting:

• Nationwide Children’s Hospital is accepting donations of gently used and new children’s picture book and board books for their waiting areas. If you are interested in donating, please visit their website at

• Faith Mission shelter has a variety of needs to help operate their shelter on a continuous basis such as cleaning products, personal hygiene items, and housing items. A full list of their needs and their Amazon wish list can be found at

• The Homeless Families Foundations is looking for Reading Mentors. Reading mentors will read one hour per week with children in Kindergarten through Eighth grades. This is a weekly commitment from October – April. For more information please visit:

• LifeCare Alliance has multiple volunteer events to help package meals for their Meals for Wheels program. Please visit Columbus Gives Back at to learn more about these opportunities as well as a variety of other upcoming ways you can volunteer.

• Organize a neighborhood beautification project! Keep Columbus Beautiful will provide all of the supplies you need to host your own clean up event – trash bags, rakes, shovels, gloves, safety vests, pruners, etc. Visit their website to see a full list and learn more:

• The Reeb Avenue Center offers a variety of programs in one location for local residents including education, job training, and childcare, just to name a few. They are always in need of volunteers to support their variety of programs. Please visit their website to see the many ways you can help:
