HRACO's Commitment to Central Ohio

HRACO believes in the power of collective action to make a positive impact in Central Ohio. We are dedicated to actively engaging our members with community organizations and giving back to the local community we serve.

Our IMPACT is a direct result of the dedication and involvement of our passionate members who actively participate in our community service projects and philanthropic efforts. Through their unwavering support, we are able to create meaningful change and contribute to the betterment of Central Ohio.

Community IMPACT 2022

HRACO Scholarship Fundraiser

Member appreciation night at The Columbus Clippers was held on July 12, 2022. We hosted over 80 HRACO members for dinner, drinks, and baseball. Over $250 was raised for the HRACO scholarship fund. iSolved Direct, Retirement Plans Inc, and Delta Dental sponsored the event.

Toys for Tots

As part of HRACO's celebration of its new meeting venue, the chapter hosted a Holiday Happy Hour and Toy Drive on November 30, 2022. A total of over 100 new toys were donated by HRACO members to the Toys For Tots campaign sponsored by Delta Dental.

Wonderful Workplaces Awards

Every year since 2013, HRACO has recognized 40 "Wonderful Workplaces for Young Professionals" as a partnership with the Columbus Young Professionals Club and Better Business Bureau of Central Ohio.

Silent Auction

HRACO's annual silent auction was held on December 13, 2022, raising over $2,015 dollars for the SHRM Foundation. We thank all of the organizations and businesses that contributed to the success of this event!

Through our Student Scholarship program, we provide deserving students with financial assistance to pursue their HR-related studies.   • Mentorship Program: Our annual mentorship program brings together experienced HR professionals and emerging talent. Through this program, we foster valuable connections, knowledge sharing, and guidance for young HR professionals. By donating, you can directly contribute to the growth and development of these aspiring individuals.
  • “Wonderful Workplaces for Young Professionals” Recognition: Each year, HRACO in partnership with the BBB, proudly recognizes 40 outstanding workplaces as “Wonderful Workplaces for Young Professionals.” These organizations prioritize the growth, well-being, and advancement of young professionals, creating inspiring environments for career success. By supporting HRACO, you are helping to shine a spotlight on these remarkable workplaces.
